Cultuur Historisch Centrum De Tiid presents the regional history of Southwest-Fryslân through a contemporary museum experience, combining historic artefacts, audiovisual content, and interactive interpretation. Housed in the monumental seventeenth-century town hall of Bolsward, the museum connects the region's history with the present.
Pronk designed the exhibition, while Heijmerink Wagemakers was responsible for its engineering and realisation. As lead exhibition engineer and project manager, I worked on the technical development and realisation of the exhibition. The modular approach presented particular challenges in the technical design, requiring creative solutions to maintain flexibility without compromising the design. Pronk's open approach also gave me the opportunity to contribute design details to the exhibition, allowing me to combine both my technical and design insights.
