The Lenovo Future Center 4.0 in Tianjin takes visitors on an immersive journey through Lenovo's products, technologies, and innovations, bringing the company's vision of “Smarter Technology for All” to life.
Visitors are welcomed by the Smart Eye, consisting of three interlocking, movable rings displaying immersive visuals. At the heart of the brand experience is the Data Core, a two-storey cubic media façade with dynamic show modes. Between performances, the cube opens to reveal a showcase server room below and a VR cinema accessed via a bridge on the second floor. Mirrored walls surrounding the cube enhance the visual impact during performances and open up afterwards to reveal display compartments showcasing Lenovo's product range throughout the years.
My responsibility within the project was the detail design of these two main features, translating the concept into a cohesive and technically resolved visitor experience. Making sure the final exhibition resembled our design as closely as possible.
